There are many reasons why people are inclined to practicing a vegan diet including, health conditions, ethical values, and to help the environment. Veganism has been said to reverse many conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and even aging (“Animal products | Health Topics | NutritionFacts.org,” n.d.).

But, the answers they come up with are very different. Steiner is a strict “ethical” vegan who believes that veganism is necessary because using animals for human consumption is morally wrong, while Wang argues that veganism is a transaction that could save the planet from its current fate.
